YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, NOYAN TAPAN. The art school after Hovik Edgarian of the village of Parakar has been reconstructed by the means of the French local body of "Hayastan" All Armenian Fund. According to the information provided to Noyan Tapan by the Public Relations Department of the fund, the program of 140 thousand U.S. dollars has been implemented in the memory of Stepan and Kayane Diryakians. The one-storey building of the school had suffered great damages from the 1988 earthquake. The roof and the floor have been reconstructed, the doors and windows changed, and inner decoration work has been performed within the frameworks of the program. About 200 pupils attend this art school from Parakar and neighboring villages.
