PRIORITY MEASURES OF REFORMS TO LIBERALIZE AIR
TRANSPORTATION IN SOME DIRECTIONS APPROVED

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 30, NOYAN TAPAN. At the November 30
sitting, the Armenian government made a decision to approve the
priority measures of the reforms aimed at liberalization of
transportation by air transport in some directions, NT was
informed from the RA Government Information and PR Department.
The necessity of this decision is conditioned by the
implementation of the decision on approving the program of
measures to secure progress of the third poverty reduction
credit between the Armenian government and the World Bank. It
was noted that the decision will not only help increase the
volume of air transportation from Armenia and in the opposite
direction but will also promote the use of Armenian airports for
transit air transportation.
