YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 6, NOYAN TAPAN. 34 chess players from Armenia will take part in Moscow traditional "Aeroflot Open-2006" tournament starting from February 8. A number of leading chess players of Armenia, including grand masters Vladimir Hakobian, Karen Asrian, Gabriel Sargsian, Ashot Anastasian, Artashes Minasian, Tigran L.Petrosian, Arsen Egiazarian, Tigran Nalbandian, Ara Minasian, Elina Danielian will take part in the tournament. The Armenian chess players usually play succesfully in the "Aeroflot Open". The best result was of Rafael Vahanian, who shared the first-second places with the Russian representative Sergey Rumlevsku and yielded him the victory only with showings in the main "A" group in 2004. Youth Zaven Andreasian reached great success in 2005: he became a winner in "B" group.
