YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, NOYAN TAPAN. According to the law "On Foundations," at the October 13 sitting the RA Government decided to found a "Book" foundation and extablish regulations of the fund and the personal of the Board of Trustees. It was defined that the state government body expressing itself on behalf of the "Book" fund is the RA Ministry of Culture and Youth Issues to which the Government allocated 100 thousand drams (220 US dollars) from the reservation fund as a property investment in the above-mentioned fund. According to the regulations, the subject and the goal of the fund's activity is creation of beneficial conditions for keeping, spreading the literary heritage and development of the written culture, providing information to the population, implementation of the social security of writers, publishers, polygraphers. The fund's activity will support settlement of issues of spreading literature published by the state assistance and further purposeful usage of money collected as a result of sale, involvement of alternative financial means. As Noyan Tapan was informed by the Government's Information and Public Relation's Department, a list of particular valuable cultural values of the RA Culture Heritage was defined by the Government's another decision.
