YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 3, NOYAN TAPAN. By the 2008 draft state budget, revenues of 744.7 bln drams (about 2.3 bln USD) are envisaged against 616 bln drams expected in 2007, or a 27.1% growth of revenues, the RA deputy minister of finance and economy Pavel Safarian said at the November 2 joint sitting of the RA National Assembly standing committees. Out of the indicated sum, revenues of 595.1 bln drams will be received from tax and duty colelction, 104.9 bln drams - as compulsory social insurance payments, and 35.7 bln drams - as official transfers. According to P. Safarian, in 2008 the ratio of taxes to GDP will make 16.9% against 15.7% expected this year. 94.1% of taxes and duties will be received from their collection, 4.3% - as a result of improved administration, and 4.6% - thanks to legislative amendments.
