YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. The reopening of the fountains of Yerevan's Republic Square will take place on September 21. The head of the Construction, Improvement and Municipal Economy of the Yeravan municipality Frunz Basentsian told NT correspondent that 600 million drams (about $1.7 million) was spent on the repair work. According to F. Basentsian, the fountains will be operated by a complex electronic system that has a 1-1.5-hour music program with illuminating and color effects.
