YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 16, NOYAN TAPAN. The examination of the action brought against director Armen Mazmanian finished on February 14 at the Court of First Instance of the Yerevan communities of Kentron and Nork Marash. To recap, the latter called People's Party Chairman Tigran Karapetian "populist parrot," "semi-literate," "pickpocket," "one sentenced in Bolgograd for debauching juveniles." The Court qualified the mentioned expressions as an "injury" and "slander" and decided to fine A.Mazmanian 300 thousand drams (about 840 U.S. dollars).
