YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 12, NOYAN TAPAN. The names of the winners of the Best Quality contest of the Food and Drink Exhibition held were announced on September 11 during the closing ceremony of the 6th regional Armenia Expo 2006 Exhibition. Gold medals were given to the following companies: Dilijan Frolova Balka, Dili, Jermuk, Feti, Berlin, Lusastgh (coffee) and Latino. The companies Dustr Mariana and Arzni that displayed five and more high-quality products at the exhibition were awarded 5 gold medals each, while Intermilk company that presented 7 such products - 7 medals. These three companies won the major awards "Bets Quality". The Armenia Expo 2006 Exhibition opened on September 8 at the Karen Demirchian Sport and Cultural Complex in Yerevan. 180 production and commercial enterprises, various unions of businessmen took part in the event, which included the exhibitions "Industrial Armenia", "Trans Expo", "Shin Expo", "Furniture Hall", "Comp Expo", "Food and Drink" and "Publishing and Advertisement" held simultaneously. "I hope that some agreements were signed, links were established, and our commercial and industrial exhibition's commission promoted the business of the participating companies," said Ara Stepanian, Vice Director of the Logos exhibition center, the event's organizer. The exhibition was held with the assistance of the RA Ministrty of Trade and Economic Developemnt, the RA Foreign Ministry and the Union of Armenian Manufacturers and Businessmen.
