YEREVAN, MAY 19, NOYAN TAPAN. At the May 18 sitting, the Armenian government made a positive conclusion about the draft law on making an addition to the RA Law on Holidays and Remembrance Days in the Republic of Armenia. The draft law was submitted as a deputy legislative initiative. According to the RA Government Information and PR Department, the draft proposes that June 14 be marked as Day of Remembrance of Those Repressed and Persecuted in the Soviet time.
