109 CRIMES COMMITTED BY FOREIGNERS IN ARMENIA IN 2005

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. 109 crimes were
committed by foreigners in the territory of Armenia in 2005,
including 39 by the citizens of Russia, 27 of Iran, 9 of Syria
and Georgia each, 7 of Ukraine and 5 by the citizens of Turkey.
Hovhannes Hunanian, the Deputy Head of the RA Police informed
about this at the February 10 press conference. He also
mentioned that 73 crimes were committed against the foreigners
in the Republic last year and 22 of the injured were citizens of
Iran, 9 of Russia, 7 of USA, 6 ones were citizens of Syria,
Georgia, India and Canada each.
