YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, NOYAN TAPAN. On October 27 the RA Government apporved the 2006 draft annual program of children's rights protection which was worked out as an implementation of the RA law "On Children's Rights" and corresponded with the main directions of the "2004-2005 National Program on Children's Rights Protection in RA" adopted by the Government on December 18, 2003. The Government also created departments for children's rights protection in the Yerevan Mayor's Office and Prefectures of the marzes of the republic. The decision was made corresponding to a memorandum on mutual understanding signed between the RA Government and the European Commission on June 2, 2004.
