STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 5, NOYAN TAPAN. On 5 February President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the Martouni region. In the villages of Paravatumb, Kaghartsi, Spitakashen and Gishi the President met with heads of the communities and the residents. Thereafter in the village of Gishi the Head of the State convoked a working consultation with heads of all communities of the Martouni region. Issues the region and its communities face and ways of their solution were discussed during the consultation. President Sahakyan underlined that the development of the regions and communities was among the pivotal components of the republic’s socio-economic progress and one of the bases of Artsakh’s strength. According to Bako Sahakyan the first thing to be done is the proper usage of the local potential and display of initiative approaches on site. President Sahakyan gave concrete assignments to heads of the corresponding structures for proper realization of the projects stipulated for the socio-economic development of the region. According to the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President, chairman of the National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan, premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials accompanied the President during the visit.
