YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, NOYAN TAPAN. During the September 22 sitting RA government approved RA bill "On Lobbying Activity." According to the report submitted to Noyan Tapan by RA government's Information and Public Relations Department, the bill was worked out in accordance with the requirements of the "List of 2004-2006 Events Providing Implementation of Poverty Reduction Strategic Program", "Program of Events of RA Anti-corruption Strategy and Its Implementation", as well as according to RA government's December 30 2004 decision N 1922. As Ashot Abovian, RA Deputy Minister of Justice, informed journalists after the sitting, according to the bill, the state officially recognizes lobbying activity, which is actually implemented but isn't regulated. According to the Deputy Minister, 4 thousand organizations engaged in lobbying activity are registered in Armenia, but only 10 of them work efficiently.
