JOINT CONCERT OF AMERICAN CONDUCTOR ROBERT COAL AND RUSSIAN
PIANIST YEVGENY MIKHAILOV TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN ON FEBRUARY 10

YEREVAN, February 9 (Noyan Tapan). A joint concert of
American conductor Robert Coal and Russian pianist Yevgeny
Mikhailov accompanied by the State Philharmonic Orchestra of
Armenia will be held in Yerevan on February 10. Deputy Director
David Terzian told NT's correspondent that the "Candid" overture
of Leonid Bernstein, as well as the works of Skryabin and
Dvorzhak will be performed during the concert.
Robert Coal is also a laureate of a number of international
festivals. The conductor headed the orchestra of the Perm
Theater of Opera and Ballet. In 1995, the French government
awarded the American conductor with the Order of Arts.
Russian pianist Yevgeny Mikhailov is a soloist of the State
Philharmonic Society of Moscow since 1997. The pianist is a
laureate of international competitions after Rakhmaninov,
Erickson, etc..
