YEREVAN, November 29 (Noyan Tapan). The presentation of the publication of the cycle for the piano and vocal of Sofa Aznaurian on the poems of Mkrtych Sargsian and "Impromptu" composed for the violin, cello and piano by Gevorg Sarajian took place at the National Library of Armenia on November 25. According to Ph. D Khoren Palian, the times change and the Armenian people, especially, intelligentsia, try to go out from the dormancy of the 90s. According to him, the appearance of such works instills us with hope that "we will soon find ourselves in our element again and will show that we aren't an ordinary nation and can create even under the heaviest conditions." Touching upon S. Aznaurian's vocal cycle devoted to the 64th anniversary of Lusine Zakarian, the professor noticed that it is an original work expressing different moods. Editor Karine Gasparian said that these publications will be given to libraries, musical schools and musical colleges free of charge.
