YEREVAN, August 9 (Noyan Tapan). A press conference
dedicated to the participation of four Armenian teams in the

coaches of the national football team was held at the Armenian

AFF President Ruben Hairapetian, touching upon the
participation of the teams "Pyunik" (Yerevan) in the League of
Champions, "Banants" (Yerevan), "Shirak" (Gyumri) and "Mika"
(Ashtarak) in the UEFA Cup, called their game unsatisfactory.
Then Ruben Hairapetian introduced Bernard Cazonie, new head
coach of the Armenian national team, and his assistant Bernard
Pardo, who will also coordinate the work of the youth and junior
national teams. The French specialists mentioned that they
aren't acquainted with the Armenian football and
football-players, but they have a great wish to be useful to the
national team and, in general, to contribute to the matter of
the development of football in the country.
By the way, Ruben Hairapetian, without calling the amount
of the salary of the French coaches, reported that he will pay
them from his personal funds, as the Armenian Football
Federation "doesn't have such sums".
