YEREVAN, May 20 (Noyan Tapan). "This is a book about real and
impossible love, the story of one-sided tragic love existing in
all times." Hasmik Charents, a poetess, gave such
characteristics to her first collection of poems entitled "Limit
of Love," the presentation of which took place on May 19. The
works written during the last 5 years are included into the
book.
According to Sergey Sarinian, an academician, the spirit of
Charents is felt in poems by Hasmik: "Inheritance of one percent
of the great poet's talent is enough for becoming a poetess." In
S.Sarinian's estimation, the poems by H.Charents contain sincere
human feelings, have original nuances and attractiveness, which
take the reader to the shores of endless love.
According to Karine Khodikian, Deputy Minister of Culture,
in the poems by Hasmik love is more than time and distance.
According to her, when "a woman can turn love into poetry this
is already miracle and calamity."
