YEREVAN, April 29 (Noyan Tapan). 12 sportsmen participated in the Armenian international Championship of Draughts (100 squares). Sportsmaster Vachik Muradian showed the best performance. In 11 days he earned 17 points and took the first place (a victory was worth 2 points, 1 point for draw). The new Armenian champion was the only participant of the chmpionship, who had no defeat. Sportsmaster Ruben Khachikian and candidate of master Nshan Alaverdian shared the 2nd and 3rd places with 16 points each. Nshan Alaverdian became the second winner due to his higher additional points. Many times' champion Ruben Khachikian took the third place this time.
