YEREVAN, April 27 (Noyan Tapan). Hamo Sahian Scientific and Cultural Center released "I Didn't Know Why" CD on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of great poet Hamo Sahian. 13 songs written by the poet ("Chinari Tsar", "Nairian Dalar Bardi", "Hayastan Aselis", etc.) and performed by Hovhannes Badalian, Ruben Matevosian, Ofelia Hambartsumian, Artashes Avetian, Raisa Mkrtchian and other well-known singers are included into the CD. Shchors Davtian, candidate of philological sciences, Director of the Center, told NT that he is also working on another CD, in which Hamo Sahian's works will be recited by Sos Sargsian, Silva Yuzbashian and Vladimir Abajian. Shchors Davtian also said that "Mairamuti Yerger" notes and texts and words of all four sings of the series authored by composer Tigran Mansurian have been recently released by Hamo Sahian Scientific and Cultural Center. According to the director of the center, Hamo Sahian highly appreciated Tigran Mansurian's merit for the Armenian music, finding many surprising common things between him and Komitas.
