TBILISI, OCTOBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. According to political secretary of Labor party Giorgi Gugava, a catastrophic fuel price rise in Georgia is preconditioned by business interests of Saakashvili-Aliyev. As he said at a news conference today, they are the owners of the main monopolist of fuel market in Georgia "SOCAR Georgia" and fill their pockets at the expense of country’s population, reported CAUCASUS PRESS. According to Gugava, "SOCAR Georgia" is not only the main importer of fuel to Georgia, but is the main distributor, which owns filling stations and dictates prices. 51% of the company belongs to Azerbaijani side and 49% belongs to Saakashvili family. "Considering the fact that "Wissol" company belongs to Saakashvili’s brother, it is easy to guess who manages the situation in the market. Despite the fact that world oil prices reduced, they grow in Georgia practically every day," the Laborite said.
