The opening of a photo exhibition called ‘Photography for a change’ will take place on September 25th at 13:00 in the Lover’s park

Young people from Armenia and Georgia are implementing a project called “Photography for a change” that was developed in the framework of Getting Involved! 2010 financed by Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg (Robert Bosch Stiftung) and MitOst. The main goal of the project is to unite Armenian and Georgian societies under one idea concentrating attention of the people on the positive and negative sides of our reality and motivating them to make a change. Photos taken by Armenian and Georgian amateur and professional photographers during the project will be presented to the audience at the exhibition in the Lover’s park on September 25-26 from 13:00 till 20:00. These photos represent the reality surrounding each of us, depicting both its negative and positive sides, by so upsetting us and making happy. As the intercultural communication element, people at the exhibition will have an opportunity to taste Georgian national sweets that the representative of the Georgian side of the project will bring with her from Georgia.
