KAZAKH INVESTMENTS LEAVE GEORGIA

TBILISI, AUGUST 27, NOYAN TAPAN. The investments of one of the largest trade partners of Georgia-Kazakhstan-leave the country, reported CAUCASUS PRESS. By official statistics, in the first quarter the Kazakh investors withdrew more than $14 million from Georgia. The Kazakh investors mainly deal with hotels, recreation complexes and communication. The second position on withdrawal of investments from Georgia is Islands of Virginia and China is on the third position. It is noteworthy that only $76 million of investments were made in Georgia in the first quarter. It is much less than last year. The Agency of Investments of the Ministry of Economics sees nothing alarming in this process. According to the head of the department Irakli Matkava, there can be inflow and outflow of investments in the investment process.
