RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan’s meetings in Marseilles

On June 26, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan took part in the festive concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the AGBU Marseilles Chapter with an opening act by Khachik Yilmazian’s “Sahak-Mesrop” choir and performances by Michel Legran, Helen Segara, Patrick Fiori, Andre Manukian and others. Mrs. Hakobyan awarded the “Nubar Pasha” Medal of the RA Ministry of Diaspora to Chairman of the AGBU Marseilles Chapter Sahak Karalekian. On June 27, H. Hakobyan had a meeting with members of the Marseilles Chapter of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) and took part in a Sunday mass dedicated to Boghos Nubar Pasha at the St. Sahak-Mesrop Mother church of Marseilles. Minister Hakobyan laid a wreath in front of the statue of Misak Manushian and the Armenian Genocide memorial in the Bomon district of Marseilles. The Minister also had a meeting with President of the Research Association of the Armenian Memory (ARAM) Garbis Artin. At the ARF’s “Hrair Marukhian” Club, Hakobyan met with representatives of the ARF and its adjunct structures (“Blue Cross” (ARS), “Nor Seround”, “ARF Junior Organization”, Homenetmen and “Hamazkayin” Armenian Educational and Cultural Society”). Minister Hranush Hakobyan also had a meeting with the Deputy Mayor of Marseilles Didie Parakian. Accompanying Minister Hranush Hakobyan on the visit was Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France Vigen Chitejian.
