Today the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received French Senators Philip Marini, Sophie Joissains and Bernard Fournier. Welcoming the guests, Edward Nalbandian highly assessed the personal contribution of French Senators to the strengthening and deepening of the Armenian-French friendly relations, as well as to the development of the cooperation between the Parliaments of Armenia and France. The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed Senators’ visit to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), underlining that such visits create an opportunity to personally see and learn about the unrolling developments from the first hand. On their part the French Senators expressed satisfaction with their visitsto Armenia and Artsakh, as well as shared their impressions from the meetings held in Stepanakert. The Senators highly evaluated the democratic system established in Artsakh.
