On July 14 the Armenian Foreign Minister met with Grigol Vashadze, the Foreign Minister of Georgia, who arrived to Yerevan on a working visit. Minister Nalbandian, welcoming his colleague, commended that the regular talks on the high level between the sides, held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, gives an opportunity to follow the process of implementation of achieved agreements, exchange thoughts about regional and international issues, outline new dimensions of bilateral cooperation. On his turn, the Foreign Minister of Georgia underlined that during the recent years Georgian-Armenian relations are on a very high level, which allows to realize projects of mutual interest in the most effective way and to resolve issues. In the course of the meeting the Foreign Ministers discussed questions concerning the further development of legal framework between the two states, cooperation in the framework of international organizations, ensuring cooperation in the sphere of energy and the demarcation of Armenian-Georgian border. The agenda of negotiations included the issues of Georgian Armenian Diaspora’s concern. The sides also exchanged opinions on a number of regional issues.
