In the frames of implementation of investment programs on greenhouse construction and development , “Armenian Harvest Promotion Center” CJSC continues negotiations with leading greenhouse producing (supplying) companies from several countries in order to introduce efficient greenhouse technologies in the RA and to finance those investments under the affordable conditions. For this purpose Brice Richel- the representative of french greenhouse producing company Richel Group in CIS and Baltic regions was in Armenia at the invitation of the Armenian Harvest Promotion Center on September 25-26, 2012. Brice Richel introduced greenhouses produced by Richel Group, its technological capabilities, construction provisions as well as financing opportunities for greenhouse acquirement to the “Armenian Harvest Promotion Center” CJSC and the investors. As a result of discussions an agreement was reached to finance greenhouse acquirements from Richel Group at up to 5% annual interest rate. Credit financing will be carried out by french commercial banks under the warranty of COFACE Group. In the frames of ‘’Investment Program on the Construction and Development of the Yerevan Greenhouse Zone in the vicinity of Noragavit district’’ approved by the RA Government approximately 50ha heating greenhouses will be constructed within 3 years. The overall program intends up to 500 ha modern greenhouse construction in the RA with the involvement of private investments.
