South Caucasus Railway Took Part in the 5th Anniversary Armenian-Russian Industrial Exhibition «Expo-Russia Armenia 2012"

On October 24, 2012 at the House of the Government of the Republic of Armenia the fifth annual Russian-Armenian industrial exhibition launched in which CJSC "South Caucasus Railway" took part. The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan and the President of "Multi Group" concern Gagik Tsarukyan gave welcome speeches at the opening of the event. "Russia has been and remains the largest trade partner of Armenia, - said the Speaker of the Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan at the opening. It is a traditional platform for establishing mutually beneficial business and personal contacts, creation new ideas and the implementation of interesting business initiatives. " In the exhibition CJSC "SCR" presented the performance of its investment obligations, work on restoration of the infrastructure and rolling stock, as well as on increasing the volume of freight and passenger traffic. There the Company presented information technologies used today on the Armenian railway. Among them are programs such as ACS freight, ACS booking and sale of passenger tickets, system of management and monitoring of operational infrastructure facilities, vehicle control and management "M2M" system. Projects aimed at improving the quality of passenger service have also been presented, a separate unit presented the social policy of CJSC "SCR". The aim of the Armenian-Russian industrial exhibition is to develop economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia, strengthening relations between two countries, the development of joint business, trade, economic and investment relations.
