On October 25 SCR opened traffic on the railway bridge on the 2,636th km of Shahali-Tumanyan span (Lori). The bridge, popularly known as "Satani Kamurj", was built in 1889. Its length is 44 meters, height - 14-18 meters. Reconstruction of the building has been carried out since March 2012 as a part of the Company's investment program for reconstruction and rehabilitation of railway engineering structures. The amount of construction was 250 million drams. Keeping to its policy to support the Armenian business CJSC “SCR” chose as the contractor for repair the Armenian bridge construction company “Kamurhshin”, which adopted in the reconstruction technologies never used before on the road. Thus, during the construction a hydraulic jack was used instead of previously used crane. Note that until the end of 2012 the Company also plans to open a two-span bridge on the 2626th km of Tumanyan-Kober span (Lori). Recall that in April this year CJSC "SCR" has put into operation the bridge over the gorge Zamanlu with a length of 216.86 meters and a height of 42.89 meters. The Company continuous its extensive work to improve the infrastructure for traffic safety, speed and capacity of the traffic volumes.
