Armenia’s leading telecommunications operator VivaCell-MTS announces the number of SMS messages and calls on its network on December 31, 2012 and January 1, 2013

VivaCell-MTS’ network handled 3,617,584 SMS messages on December 31, the New Years Eve before midnight, with a further 2,773,136 on January 1, 2013. At the same time, 18,962,779 calls were handled through VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2012 before midnight, and another 19,889,200 on January 1, 2013. 

In total 6,390,720 short messages and 38,851,979 calls were handled by VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2012 and January 1, 2013. 
Compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of calls increased by nearly 4 %.
