In connection with the 22nd anniversary of the Artsakh Republic proclamation President Bako Sahakyan signed decrees on decorating with NKR state awards.

For personal bravery shown during the defense of the Motherland five individuals, four of them posthumously were awarded with the Medal “For Courage”.

For contribution to the defense of the Motherland, as well as for courage shown defending state borders 135 individuals, among them eight posthumously, were awarded with the “For Service in Battle” medal.

For substantial contribution to the national security maintenance two individuals were awarded with the "For Service in Battle" medal.

For services shown to the Nagorno Karabagh Republic in the sphere of state building, economy, culture, education and information two individuals were awarded with the "Mkhitar Gosh" medal, three people were decorated with the “Vachagan Barepasht” medal and twenty three individuals were awarded the "Gratitude" medal.

For proper realization of service duties the President also signed an order on handing in valuable gifts (TV sets) to two individuals.
