Children of the Shahumyan village in Armavir Marz
commenced the new academic year at newly renovated school, which has become possible due to the assistance of the CRONIMET Charity Foundation (CCF).
The renovation of the completely ruined school building has been implemented in the scope of the Assistance to the Pre-school and Basic Education Component of CCF, which aims at providing an improved environment to children for a more effective learning process.
Two floors of the building were totally renovated – windows were replaced, floors and walls were renewed. The project total cost amounted 51 million drams.
The governor of the Armavir mars attended the opening ceremony of the renovated school that was held along with the new academic year commencement on 2 September, 2013. He highly appreciated the work done by the CRONIMET Charity Foundation, and expressed hope for a continued support of CCF to the marz.
