Bako Sahakyan received Stepan Shahoumyan’s great granddaughter Maria Shahoumyan

On 8 September Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received Stepan Shahoumyan’s great granddaughter Maria Shahoumyan and together with her partook in the festive event held in the park named after the famous figure.
President Sahakyan welcomed Maria Shahoumyan in her ancestor's land, highlighting the necessity of maintaining firm ties with the historical homeland.
Head of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, prime-minister Ara Haroutyunyan, guests from abroad and other officials took part in the event.
