Tomorrow, on October 26 at 12:00-17:00, in Children's Gallery (address: 13 Abovyan street) the exhibition of games of the 3rd “Open Game” championship of computer and mobile game developers will be held, which will be followed by the award ceremony.
25 games (for comparison, last year the number of games in the final stage was 19) participate in the game exhibition of the championship. The participants include both start-up companies and young residents of Armenia and the Diaspora. The finalists of the championship can be found online.
"In this year's contest the qualitative growth has doubled and even tripled. We have not only received a greater number of applications, but also the vast majority of games are already completely ready for use, and tomorrow at the exhibition the visitors will be able to assess the creative mind of the participants, as well as actually to play,” said the Executive Director of UITE, Karen Vardanyan.
The prize fund of the championship is 1.700.000 AMD. The awards ceremony will have 9 nominations: “Best Game”, “Best Mobile Game”, “Best Game Play”, “Innovation”, “Best Design”, “Best Character”, “Best 3D Solution”, “Best Junior”. During the exhibition, the visitors will have an opportunity to see and play the games presented by championship participants, as well as to vote for their favourite one. The participant with the greatest number of votes from visitors will receive the “Public Prize”.
