On 5 November Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan sent a condolence letter to the family of Vladimir Movsisyan in connection with his death.
The letter runs as follows:
“I have learnt with deep sorrow about the death of the deserved son of the Armenian nation, prominent state and political figure, doctor of agricultural sciences, professor Vladimir Movsisyan.
Vladimir Movsisyan’s contribution to the development and prosperity of his native country is invaluable. As an experienced statesman and high professional he dedicated his skills, knowledge and experience to the formation and development of the Republic of Armenia and the Artsakh Republic forever leaving his name in our modern history.
On behalf of the Artsakh people, authorities and myself personally I express my deepest condolences and support to the family of Vladimir Movsisyan, all his relatives and friends. In this hour of great sorrow I wish all of them courage and tenacity”.
