The Western Armenian National Football Team Arrived in Sochi

On May 27, The Western Armenian National Football Team arrived in Sochi, "Noyan Tapan" correspondent reports from Sochi.
Here the athletes were greeted by the official delegation of State of Western Armenia as well as by the members of the Armenian community and "Sevan" Association.
Let us recall that The Western Armenian National Football Team is going to participate in World (ConIFA) Football Cup 2016 which will be launched on May 28 in Abkhazia.
Football World Cup opening ceremony will be attended by the official delegation of Western Armenia, which includes the leadership of Western Armenia and the members of the Government.
In this tournament, which the organizers of Confia call "Football World Cup outside of FIFA", teams of unrecognized territories are participating.
Besides Western Armenia, Abkhazia, Chagos Islands, Kurdistan, Northern Cyprus, Panjab, Raetia, Sápmi, Somaliland, Székely Land, Romani People and United Koreans of Japan also will participate in the tournament.
The matches will be held in "Dinamo" in Sukhum and in "Daur Akhvedeliani" in Gagrakh. The final will take place on June 5.
Group A includes – the teams of Abkhazia, Chagos Islands, Western Armenia.
Group B includes – teams of Kurdistan, Székely Land, United Koreans in Japan
Group C includes –teams of Northern Cyprus, Romani People, Raetia.
