Fabian Panisello: “The Youth Orchestra is interested in studying something new and doing new projects!”

On June 28 Aram Khachaturian concert hall hosted a unique symphony concert! The State Youth Orchestra presented compositions by Aaron Copland, Claude Debussy, Takashi Yoshimatsu, Fabian Panisello. Jaroslaw Nadrzycki (violin), Maria Nemtsova (piano), Vitaly Vatulya (alto saxophone), Boris Allakhverdyan (clarinet) and Khachik Andreasyan (piano) performed as soloists.
The orchestra was headed by conductors Sergey Smbatyan and Fabian Panisello during the concert.   Panisello headed the orchestra to perform his own compositions - Violin Concerto and Movements for Piano and Orchestra. They were presented in Armenia for the first time.
Conductor and  composer Fabian Panisello said it has been very interesting to work with the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia, which is always interested in studyng something new and implementing new projects. That’s why the cooperation with the orchestra was very effective. 
The concert was organized with the cooperation of Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Armenia and the support of Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
The ambassador of Argentina to Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia mentioned that such concerts strengthen bilateral ties. “We are presenting you a concert which is performed by Armenian and Argentine conductors . They mark the friendly relations between the two countries with their performance”,-the ambassador added.  
Fabian Panisello (Argentine) is one of the most popular and famous composers. Berlin Sympony, BBC Symphony, Spanish National Orchestra and other famous collectives and artists presented his compositions.
Soloists Maria Nemtsova, Vitaly Vatulya, Boris Allakhverdyan were in Armenia within the framework of the “Musicians for peace” project.
