"The Armenians" by Gabriela Uluhogian published in Italian

BOLOGNA, SEPTEMBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. "The
Armenians" ("Gli Armenia"), a 203-page work by Gabriela
Uluhogian, has been published in Italy, Azg newspaper reported.
This work can be considered as the most comprehensive and
complete volume on the history of Armenia, which has ever been
published in Italian. G. Uluhogian is a respected person in
Armenological circles. For more than 30 years she headed the
Chair of Armenian Studies at Bologna University where she taught
Armenian language and literature. She is the author of numerous
articles and publications.
In the first chapter of "The Armenians" the author provides
general information about the geography and history of Armenia.
The second chapter deals with Armenia's history, from the times
of the Kingdom of Urartu to the present day. The third chapter
contains infomation on the Armenian Church. In the fourth
chapter of the book, G. Uluhogian dedicated over 70 pages to
Armenian culture and its universal value, and the last, fifth
champer is on the Armenian Diaspora.
The book was released in Bologna in 2009.
