AGBU supports protocols on normalization of relations
between Armenia and Turkey

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 7, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenian President Serzh
Sargsyan on September 4 received President of the Armenian
General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Berge Setrakian. According to
the RA presidential press service, S. Sargsyan expressed a high
opinion about AGBU's involvement in the solution of problems of
all-Armenian importance, saying that it is always pleasant to
hear about its new undertakings.
Berge Setrakian presented the current and future programs
of AGBU. The sides discussed the latest developments of
Armenia-Turkey dialog as well. In the words of B. Setrakian,
naturally, the Armenian General Benevolent Union cannot be
indifferent to the issues of utmost importance for the nation
and the state and it follows the process with great attention.
He stated that the AGBU supports the recent protocols aimed at
normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey and attaches
importance to the circumstance that the negotiations contain no
preconditions.
