YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, NOYAN TAPAN. "The July 10 joint statement of Presidents of the U.S, Russia and France on the Artsakh conflict, the so-called Madrid Principles, the "roadmap" agreement, as well as the statements to the effect that Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents have reached a major agreement on the above mentioned principles show that new and dangerous developments regarding the Artsakh problem and the "relations" with Turkey (closely related to it) are expected in the coming months," is said in the statement of the participants of the meeting of Miatsum national initiative. According to the statement, with the help of the package of documents on the development of relations between Armenia and Turkey which was published on August 31, an attempt is being made to finally solve the Armenian Cause in favor of Turkey, "The ratification of the indicated document will force Armenia to recognize the existing borders of Turkey, as a result of which the 1921 Kars Treaty will be re-ratified, the Armenian Genocide problem will be endlessly discussed by the sub-commission on the historical dimension, and Armenia will recognize the territorial integrity and inviolability of borders of any third state - which is directly related to the Artsakh problem," the statement reads. The meeting participants expressed determination to remain adamant in the defence of the Artsakh and Western Armenia problems and to contribute to the national unification around these problems.
