Opening ceremony of reconstructed school in Khashtarak to
be held on September 4

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, NOYAN TAPAN. The opening ceremony of
repaired school in Khashtarak will be held on September 4. The
major repairs were carried out with the financial assistance
(170 million drams) of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund's local bodies
in France, Germany and Switzerland, while the school's
furnishing was sponsored by the local body in Australia (about 9
million drams).
The Fund reported that the event will be attended by RA
Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgian, Minister of Education
Armen Ashotian, Governor of Tavush Marz Armen Ghualrian, NA
deputy Mikael Vardanian, priest of Gugark diocese Father Torgom,
the community head Hayk Kamalian, as well as by Deputy Director
of the Hayastan Fund's Executive Board Ararat Khlghatian,
Chairmen of the Fund's local bodies in Switzerland and Germany
Avetis Kizirlian and Gilbert Momjian who have arrived in Armenia
to participate in the event.
This year the Fund constructed a gas pipeline and repaired
a first-aid post in Khashtarak. The reconstriction of the
irrigation network is underway in the village.
