YEREVAN, JULY 17, NOYAN TAPAN. "There is great pressure on Armenia, and the Armenian president is under pressure," member of the ARF Armenia Supreme Body Armen Roustamian told reporters during the July 16 press conference, adding that the pressure is being applied by the countries - OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs which force Armenia to make unilateral concessions. According to him, the representatives of the ARF in Yerevan and various countries are going to hand letters of the same contents to the U.S, Russian and French embassies. In these letters they will express their disappointment to the Minsk Group co-chairs in connection with the lack of correspondence between the Madrid Principles and the nature of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and the disregard of the Nagorno Karabakh people's will. At the same time A. Roustamian stated that with the aim of eliminating the negative consequences that became evident in Armenia's foreign policy and restoring the national and state course, the ARF demands resignation of Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, although Serzh Sargsyan is the main person responsible for the country's foreign policy. "In this way we want to give the president a chance to make changes. The president still has an opportunity to make a sudden change in the situation, in particular, not to sign the proposed document because we are convinced that it ignores the will of the NKR people that they have already expressed," A. Roustamian underlined. In this context he welcomed S. Sargsian's statement that he will not sign any document at the upcoming meeting with Aliyev in Moscow. "If, nevertheless, any document on the Nagorno Karabakh problem is signed, the ARF will demand S. Sargsyan's resignation. No matter who the current president is, we will be against such a policy," A. Roustamian declared.
