Union of Armenians in Russia celebrates Medical Worker's
day

MOSCOW, JULY 8, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. Sixty-five
doctor-scientists, members of the RF Academy of Medical
Sciences, young doctors, research students and members of the
Union of Armenians in Russia (UAR) took part in the event
dedicated to the Medical Worker's day celebrated in Russia.
UAR Doctors' Association Head, RF government's prize
laureate in the spheres of Science and Technology, the real
member of the RF Academy of Medical Sciences Arnold Adamian
opened the event held by UAR. He proudly noted about Armenian
doctors' numerous discoveries in the sphere of medicine, which
had universal significance in the Middle Ages and are no less
significant in our days.
The First Vice-President of UAR Artashes Ter-Gazariants on
the occasion of the holiday congratulated those present on
behalf of President of UAR Ara Abrahamian. A. Ter-Gazariants
also read the address of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush
Hakobian. The address especially noted the aid of Russian
doctors after Spitak earthquake and during Karabakh liberation
fights, as well as about the professional aid which is provided
every year within the framework of UAR days in Armenia and
Artsakh.
According to the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the event
held at Moscow House of Nations was accompanied by a
concert with both national and classical music performances.
