TBILISI, JULY 3, NOYAN TAPAN. The Greco-Roman Wrestling European Youth Championship started on July 2 in Tbilisi. Alexan Mikayelian (55 kg, Gyumri), Aram Julfalakian (66 kg, Yerevan), Vachik Yeghiazarian (heavyweight, Yerevan), and Rafael Alexanian (74 kg, Yerevan) among eight sportsmen of Armenia taking part in the competition performed on the first day. R. Alexanian won three fights, lost one fight and received the right to take part in the competition for bronze medal. R. Alexanian's other three team-mates failed in the start meetings and did not qualify. The other four wrestlers of Armenia will perform on July 3.
