KUNIA, JUNE 23, NOYAN TAPAN. An international 6-stage 480-km road bicycle racing event finished in the Turkish city of Kunia on June 21. The Armenian rider Aram Melikian competed successfully: he finished fifth in the 3rd stage (46 km) and the 6th stage (78 km). Out of 14 participating teams from 8 countries, the Armenian team took 5th place, being surpassed by teams of Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Turkey and Syria. Georgian team took 7th place, Azerbaijani team was in 13th place.
