YEREVAN, JUNE 30, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobian will take part in the 10th Armenian Medical World Congress in New York Rockefeller center on July 1-4. According to the RA Ministry of Diaspora, H. Hakobian will make a speech on the topic of Armenia and Diaspora at the final plenary sitting dedicated to discussion of the success in the sphere of Armenian health. After her speech the participants of the conference will discuss the problems of the health sphere and quality of education in the sphere in Armenia. According to the hayernaysor.am electronic newspaper, the organizer of the 10th Armenian Medical World Congress is the Armenian American Health Professional Organization-AAHPO (www.aahpo.org). It was founded in 1954 by Armenian doctors Nabet Kasabian, Khoren Nalbandian and John Nersisian. AAHPO supports health professionals of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut including nurses, dietologists, dentists and doctors. The aims of the organization are rise of the healthcare awareness in Armenian communities and in Armenia, improvement of disease prevention and diagnosis, provision of medical support. RA Minister of Health Harutyan Kushkian will give a report on the subject The Health in Armenia at the final plenary sitting of the 10th Armenian Medical World Congress on July 2. The Minister of Health of Great Britain Lord Ara Darzi (the theme - The robotized operation), USA Congressman Frank Pallone (the theme - The legal problems of the health reforms outlined by USA Congress) are among the speakers of the Congress. The themes of the plenary sitting also concern reforms and innovations of the health sphere in USA, Armenia and UK. Seminars concerning different spheres of health will be also held within the framework of the 10th Armenian Medical World Congress.
