YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian president, chairman of the Board of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan stated that within a week, the RPA will inform the public about its position on running in the May 31 election of the Yerevan council of aldermen. Yerevan mayor Yervand Zakharian announced this at the February 24 press conference given at the conclusion of Serzh Sargsyan's visit to Yerevan municipality.
