MINSK, FEBRUARY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. The 3rd sitting of the interparliamentary commission on cooperation of the National Assembly of Armenia and the National Assembly of Belarus was hedl in Minsk on February 24. The Armenian parliamentary delegation headed by the vice speaker of the parliament, Armenian co-chair of the commission Hrayr Karapetian is on a 3-day visit to Minsk, capital city of Belarus, in order to participate in the sitting. The parliamentarians of two countries dicsussed the implementation of the decisions taken at the previous sitting, in particular the programs on promotion of the bilateral trade and economic cooperation. They also discussed the problems of energy security of the two countries. According to the RA MFA Press and Information Department, prior to the sitting, the delegation members met with the chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarusian National Assembly Vladimir Andreychenko and the chairman of the Council of the Republic of Belarusian NA Boris Batura. The Armenian ambassador to Belarus Oleg Yesayan took part in these meetings and the commission's sitting.
