WJIK AAN ZEE, JANUARY 19, NOYAN TAPAN. The 71st Corus Chess
Tournament with the participation of 14 GMs is being held in
Wjik aan Zee (Netherlands). Two rounds have been held. Levon
Aronian drew with Yue Wang (China) and Teymour Rajabov
(Azerbaijan) and shares 4th-11th places with 1 point. Among
leaders are Jan Smeets (Netherlands), Sergei Karyakin (Ukraine)
and Sergei Movsisian (Slovakia) with 1.5 points each.
The games of the 3rd round are scheduled for January 19.
