The Human rights defender (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Artsakh and Center for Law and Justice “Tatoyan” foundation published a joint report, which presents the violations of the rights of Artsakh children caused by the complete blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan. It addresses the health, psychological and social problems created for the children of Artsakh as a result of Azerbaijani illegal behavior.
 
As a result of the 79-day blockade and the deliberate disruption of vital infrastructures such as gas and electricity supply, 30,000 children of Artsakh are going through deprivation, which undermines their ability to live and develop in a safe and secure environment.
The current situation has created serious threats for the rights to adequate living standards, proper nutrition, free movement, education, rights to live in families and psychological integrity of children.
 
The report was sent to international organizations dealing with the protection of children's rights. This situation, incompatible with the best interest of the child, requires the priority attention and immediate involvement of all those institutions.
