YEREVAN, OCTOBER 13, NOYAN TAPAN. The trade turnover amounted to 960 bln 156.1 mln drams (more than 3 bln 135.4 mln USS) in current prices in Armenia in January-August 2008, exceeding by 7.8% in comparable prices the index of the same period of 2007. According to the RA National Statistical Service, retail trade made 593 bln 639.2 mln drams in current prices in January-August 2008, growing by 6.3% in comparable prices as compared witn the same period of last year. The services of a total of 453 bln 999.3 mln drams in current prices were provided in the period under review of 2008, increasing by 15.1% in comparable prices on January-August 2007.
